Police Hunt Wheelchair Suspect After Attack

CCTV images show a wheelchair user who police want to interview in connection with an attack on a man.

CCTV footage two suspects at Southside Shopping Centre in London, that they are looking for in connection with an assault on a man who was left with a broken jaw

Detectives are trying to track down the user of a motorised wheelchair who ganged up with an accomplice and left a 31-year-old man with a broken jaw.
The victim was walking home from work in Wandsworth, southwest London, when he was pushed to the ground in an attack by two men who had recently left a nearby cinema.
The attack took place on July 25 and police, who have not managed to find the people responsible, have released two CCTV stills in the hope of tracking down the suspects.
The man in the wheelchair is said to be balding and aged between 40 and 45.

A woman was with the men but not involved in the attack
The second man, wearing a black T-shirt and a red baseball cap is said to be between 20 and 25.
Detective Constable Chris Taylor said: "This attack was completely unprovoked. The victim had just finished the late shift at a local supermarket and was on his way home.
"We know the suspects had been in the Cineworld cinema prior to the offence and came out of the Southside Centre and on to Garratt Lane.
"We are issuing CCTV images of the group and I would hope that someone would be able recognise them."
The victim, Emmanuvel Camisan Judes, told the Evening Standard he was waiting for a bus after his supermarket shift at around 11pm when the older man said: "What are you staring at?"
When he replied "Nothing", the man rammed the wheelchair into his legs, before the second attacker pushed him, causing him to fall backwards and hit his head on the pavement.
He was left with a broken jaw which meant he had to spend his birthday in hospital.
The attackers were with a woman who was not involved in the assault.
Anyone with information can call DC Taylor at Wandsworth CID on 020 3276 2582 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
